The City of Cleveland has completed its roll out of the curbside recycling program and has removed recycling drop-off bins around the city.
As residents take advantage of the convenience of curbside recycling, drop-off sites have seen a decline in usage. Many sites have become locations for illegal dumping.
The City will continue to to accept bulk recycling at its Ridge Road Transfer Facility, located at 3727 Ridge Rd. The facility is open Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Accepted items include glass, paper, plastic, metals and cardboard.
In addition to the Ridge Road facility, the following recycling drop-off sites will remain available:
Cadillac Music | 36th Street & Carnegie Avenue |
Captains Grill | 6102 Storer Ave. |
Cleveland Clinic – DD | 10900 Carnegie Ave. |
